Our Vision
The August School was founded and run by an experienced headteacher, Janella Ajeigbe.
Janella has always wanted her pupils to achieve their potential and was once featured in the Financial Times.
After the end of school lockdowns, Janella grew frustrated by the number of bright children (at other schools) who were not being challenged in their lessons. She started teaching Latin online for pupils in Korea and Hong Kong who were applying to English boarding schools.
She now also offers exam preparation classes which are based on the curriculum used at successful prep schools.

When do the lessons take place?
Depends on the subject! for 11+ prep we usually teach on Saturdays, for Latin on Tuesdays. Our service is flexible tough, so please contact us to find out more!
Do you send Homework?
Yes we do! we know homework can be annoying, but the work needs to be done consistently outside and inside the classroom! learning is not a linear process, and it’s never ending!
How much do the lessons cost?
It depends is the answer no one wants to hear, but it does! it will depend on which course you want to attend, whether you want a full term block or only a few lessons, as we also offer block prices. Please get in touch with us so we can discuss the best package for your child.
